Day 144


Don't let PERFECT be the enemy of GOOD. I need to remind myself of this very quote, often. My journey to a healthy life hasn't been perfect lately, maybe it hasn't been good, but it hasn't been as bad as it could be. I'm still trying. I'm still exercising. And on occasion, I do think before I cram food in my mouth.

Today hasn't been wonderful. Quite frankly, it has been pretty boring. Same ol' things happening. Cooking, cleaning, dishes. I went through a few things trying to find some things to sale. I need the extra cash.

Food was eh, not horrible, not great. I did get on the treadmill and walk a mile at 2.7 mph, 3% incline. I couldn't go any further because of the coughing.

Honestly the best thing about the day was watching Duck Dynasty. I love that show. They are my kind of people. I wouldn't change who I am even if I was a millionaire, either.

  1. Don't push your cardio if you're having a tough time breathing. Maybe focus on something else like ab crunches or lunges; they'll still give you a good workout without inducing a cough.

    1. Well instead of sticking to something else, I kinda quit all together, but I am back on the saddle now.

  2. Hang in there girl. We all go through these spells. Just hang in there until it's over. You are worth it.

    I agree with PlumPetals, don't push it with chest congestion.
