Day 3 and Day 4 : 2013

Wednesday was day #3. Sorry I didn't get a chance to write. I was just busy most of the day. My SIL called early in the day and asked if I would do my brothers taxes that afternoon. After the boys finished their school work we cleaned the house up and I did my brothers taxes. By the time they left, I really wasn't up to writing. I only took my BP once that day as I was busy all day. It was 117/78 on my cuff here at home. The scales had dropped a little more as well. I was pretty excited about that as I watched what I ate and drank water all day with the exception of one Diet Coke with my supper.

Yesterday was Thursday, day #4. I had another drop on the scale yesterday. I'm liking that a lot.

I had an ultrasound of my gallbladder and the lady who did the ultrasound said she didn't see any stones. But that it looked large and that could be because I had to fast for the ultrasound or because my gallbladder just isn't functioning properly. I'd have to have a nuclear scan to find out. Unfortunately, I can't afford that at the moment. Very frustrating to say the least.

I continue to have some pain in the upper right side of my stomach, but thank God, I haven't had any chest pain for two full days. I am so happy about that.

I only took my BP once yesterday as well. 112/77.

Food wasn't the best. We were on the go all day, so I ate more than I should have and it was sodium loaded food to boot. I didn't drink nearly enough water either. Today will be better!

  1. Glad the scale is moving in the right direction. Do watch out for the sodium as that has an impact on your blood pressure as well.

  2. So glad you're back blogging! I know you have so much going in your life and that health can be pushed to back burner a lot of time, but I hope you're taking time for yourself. Soon enough you'll be taking your boys outside for spring walks and get back to it! Have you been doing workouts on the treadmill at all? You were rocking the treadmill this time last year!

    1. No, I haven't been on the treadmill at all because of my hip. It has just started to feel some better. I think I pushed too hard last year with the walking. I would like to do some light stuff though.
