Day 1 : 2013

Ok, so today like I said last night, I've decided I have to attempt to lose some weight and figure out what is going on with me.

First thing this morning, I hopped on the scale. Yuck. Not pretty.

Food today was so-so. Could have been better had I been out to the store recently, but I just had to make due with what I had on hand.

I had Walnut/Raisin Oatmeal for breakfast. A sliced chicken sandwich on white with cheese and mustard for lunch along with a banana. For supper I had a salad with tuna in it. I probably had too much junky add ins, but hey, I had a salad.

I've drank water with sugar free cherry-gomagranite flavor packs in it all day. I only had one glass of Diet Coke. That alone is a miracle.

So far today I've not had any real chest/back pain but I've had some pain in my upper stomach and on the top right side of my stomach as well. I really don't know what to think as far as what is causing the pain, but I just know I don't want to drop dead with a heart attack.

I've tried to get up and move around the house quite a bit today. I didn't do any structured exercise because I want to take it slow and not shoot my blood pressure through the roof.

I took my BP twice today. It was 102/63 when I got up and 105/76 just a few minutes ago. But I took it with my cuff and I'm not sure it is working right.

Either way, I think it has been a pretty decent day. Hopefully I can stick with this tomorrow as well.

Send up a prayer for me.
