Weigh-In Week 12

This week has been a pretty great week. I am so excited to say that I am down 5.2 lbs since last Sunday!! For an official total of 35. 4 lbs since January 1!

Day 84

Today has been the longest day ever. We have ran the roads all day. We went to flea market a couple counties over, the mission, Kmart, a vendors mall, and then to the In-Laws for the afternoon. Came home and the dogs had rolled in mud so I had to bathe them as soon as I walked in the door. I had a truck-load of dishes to do.. got those done, ate and worked out. Now I am going to shower and hit the couch to read. Food was a little below my goal but it was crappy food today. I did get in my water though. Hope tomorrow is better.. but it Sunday and you know how those are for me. Here is to positive thinking... it will be a GREAT Sunday! ;)
Nite all!

Day 83

Today went pretty smoothly. I was a little sore from doing TBL workout video yesterday but nothing that I couldn't handle.. well I did it again this afternoon and let me tell ya.. my buns and arms are aching! Maybe a switch-up on what I was doing was really needed. We shall see how it goes.

Food was good, got my water in. Pretty decent day!

Day 82

Today has been a roller coaster ride. I've been back and forth with the same 3 lbs for the last couple weeks. I was really starting to get frustrated. This morning I hopped on the scales and was back down the 3 plus 2 more. 35 lbs now! Woot!!!  That was the upside...

And for the down... My treadmill is down for the count until I can get a new motor belt. Boo. Michael and I had worked on it and the belt wasn't slipping as bad til I ran on it yesterday. I guess running on it and me this fat wasn't a grand idea. I was really hoping for 1000 miles in 2012. I'm kinda mad that I will be so behind.. but there is nothing I can do about that. We don't have the mulah to buy the belt and our gym membership has ran out. We don't have the money for that either. And if we did, we couldn't afford gas to drive 15 minutes each way to get there. Gas is almost $4 a gallon here right now.

My only option is to wait until Michael is home from work and go to the church and walk laps around the parking lot. Not really looking forward to that as I like to stay cool and temps here have been in the high 80s the last few days.

So tonight I had to get my exercise in one way or another. I dug out my trusty ol' friend from back in 2008 ... The Biggest Loser workout. I made it all the way through.. but not without stopping or modifying the exercises. I'll be sore tomorrow but it will be worth it. When I was at my smallest I could bust through that sucker like it was nothing. But it wasn't always that way. The very first time I did it, I couldn't walk or even attempt to sit down for a few days.

I was going to attempt Richard Simmons' Sweating to the Oldies 2...  but the boys wouldn't quit laughing at me. That's a no go unless I am home alone.

My question about doing exercise videos is how do I calculate my calories? Just go by a general low impact aerobics calculation? I'd really like a heart rate monitor... but no money shoots that too!

Food really hasn't been too bad today. I still need to get in another glass of water. I'm crossing my fingers for a nice scale again in the morning!

I hope you all had a wonderful day. I'm heading to bed. Over & out!

Edited to add :: I forgot to mention I have now lost over 10% of my body weight AND I am now no longer Super Obese!

Day 81

Yesterday was a pretty decent day. I kept my calories within limit, drank my water, and walked 2 miles on the treadmill early in the day. I had planned to walk more last night, but my head just hurt too bad. I ended up going to bed to read.

While I was on the treadmill walking... I decided to get W1D1 of  C25k a go. You do a warm up walk for 5 minutes, alternate running 60 seconds and walking 90 seconds,  and finish up with a 5 minute cool down. Overall I should have ran 8x. I didn't make it that far, but I did run. I did the rotation 4x. I'm pretty proud of that. I am surprised I could run at all!

Day 80

My life has been so crazy the last few days. I am so ready to relax!

Yesterday Michael was off from work so we spent the entire day getting things done here around the house. He mowed the yard while I swept and mopped the entire house. Once he was back in the house we moved the fridge and freezer so that I could finish my spring cleaning in the kitchen. That is one room done. Clean from top to bottom.. ceiling, walls, cabinets, drawers, everything. Now only 6 more rooms to go! All this while helping Bai with his school work.

By the time I finished up the kitchen it was time to pick Dalton up from school, do dishes, laundry, and cook supper only to do dishes again. After supper we gave the boys haircuts, they had a quick shower, we fed the animals and then went for a ride to the top of the mountain on the 4-wheeler. Well, Bai drove his motorcycle. It was nice and relaxing. We saw a beautiful sunset. The boys wanted to stop by my Moms for a few minutes on the way back, so we did. It was nearly 9pm when we got home. Time for showers again and Daltons homework.

I did eventually get on the treadmill for a mile. I was just too exhausted to do more than that. I had a quick shower and went straight to bed.

Food was pretty good. I was low on calories, but I barely found time to eat yesterday. I didn't get in all my water either. I had around 6 glasses. I did have a fountain Diet Coke too.

Hopefully, today will be slower.

And... for your viewing pleasure... the sun setting as we rode back down the mountain.

Day 78 and 79

Sunday, I spent the day at Mom and Dads with the family. I ate too much, but got my water in. I walked 3.5 miles on the treadmill and helped Michael shovel out ditches and culverts. Not a very girly thing to do, but I'm not girly.

Monday, went better food wise. I stayed within my goal, drank my water, and walked 1.5 miles on the treadmill. It was a very long and hectic day.

Today has been good so far.. I'll report in tonight on how it goes. I have Spring Cleaning to do... better get at it.
