Weigh-In Week 11
Well the scales certainly weren't friendly today. I'm down 2 ounces from what I was last Sunday. If I went by what I weighed yesterday, I would be down 1.4 lbs from last Sunday. Dunno if I actually gained that back or if it is water weight.. but this has been a crazy week. I'm not going to give up. Next week will be better.
Day 77
Yesterday, which was Saturday, started out pretty good.. but later in the day I went to a baby-shower. Needless to say, I ate too much. I didn't make horrible choices... I didn't have cake or anything sweet. But, I just ate too much in general.
When I made it back to the house, I did better, as I was stuffed for pretty much the rest of the evening. I drank more than enough water, and walked 2.25 miles on the treadmill. So hopefully I didn't screw things up too bad.
Today is Sunday, and as usual, we are going to Moms. I'm going to try to keep myself in line. It is getting harder for me to resist than it use to be. I thought it would get easier as time passed. Oh well. I am strong and determined. I'll make it. I just need to find the willpower I had in January.
I had my son to snap a pic for me yesterday... just because. So I figured I'd share. Say Cheese!
Oh, and those pants... are size 24 from Maurices! They do have an elastic waist though. But the rest of the pant is not stretch.

Day 76
Yesterday was a so-so day. I kept my calories within range, drank my water, didn't have a Diet Coke, and walked a mile on the treadmill.
I had planned to walk 3 or 4 miles, but my boys spent the night with my sister so DH and I spent some quality time together piled up on the couch reading. We rarely get down time together, so it was nice.

Day 75
Yesterday wasn't too bad as far as Aunt Flo goes. I think she is about to pack up and leave. I'm not looking forward to her return in approximately 28 days.. maybe she will skip me.
Michael, Bai, and I were on the go all day yesterday. We went to 3 different libraries, spent a few hours in the ER with Mom while she had 700+ ml of fluid taken out of her lung. After all that we had to get groceries. By the time we finished up with everything we needed to do and I got the groceries put away, I was exhausted. I still had dishes and laundry to do and I had to get the kids ready for the morning. I didn't make it to the treadmill. I was dead on my feet.
Food was within my limits, but not even close to wonderful. It was my 60th day logging my calories. I am pretty proud of that. WTG me!
I hope to make up for yesterdays missed treadmill time today... if my hip and back will allow it. We shall see.
Everyone, have a good day! It's FRIDAY!

Day 74
Aunt Flo is still reeking havoc around here. I've had a horrible headache and cramps from **** again today. It did ease off mid-day and I hopped on the treadmill. I got 2.7 miles in before she came back with a vengeance. Food was crappy but within my calorie limits. I got my water in, but had a Diet Coke as well. Quite honestly I didn't even care what I crammed in my mouth today. I just wanted to lay on the couch, watch TV, or read. Thank goodness the evil witch will leave in a day or so and move on to the next unsuspecting female. She is making menopause look like heaven.

Day 73
Aunt Flo is driving me NUTS! I have felt horrible this afternoon. I've had a headache and cramps from hell. I've been bloated, irritable, and so dang hungry I could have ate a horse. I could have ate a bag of Buffalo Doritos as big as this desk. I've wanted them, Diet Coke and Nutella all day long. Thankfully we have none of those in the house at this moment or this would have been a horrendous day. I took some ibuprofen and had about a 45 minute nap. At least my head is feeling a little better now.
I did manage to get in 2 miles on the treadmill early in the day. I'm glad I did it early or I wouldn't have walked at all. This afternoon has been for the birds.
I drank tons of water and keep my calories within my goal, but food choices weren't great. No Diet Coke again today. Now if I could just step away from the lean pockets and make better choices...

Day 72
Sorry I didn't write last night.. I went to bed by 10 pm. I was drained. This time change thing drives me nuts. I really wish they would just pick one way and leave it alone. I appreciate the extra sun in the afternoon, but I don't appreciate it enough to enjoy fighting with my internal clock. Michael isn't adjusting well either. Hopefully in a few more days we will be back to normal.
Aunt Flo showed her ugly face here yesterday. I am bloated and irritable. That explains the headache on Sunday though.
Food yesterday was ok. I didn't make wonderful choices, but I did keep it within my calorie goals. I didn't have a Diet Coke at all, got all my water in, and I walked 2.3 miles on the treadmill.
Today is a new day... I better get to it! Have a good one everyone.

Day 71
Today was so-so. I went to Moms. My sister, Missy, and I cleaned up Moms dishes that she had left from yesterday and then cooked dinner. Cleaned the dishes and mess left after everyone ate. We always try to do the rest of the house and her laundry too. Just to help her out. But, if we hadn't been there today, it wouldn't have got done. She was too sick to do anything really. We offered to make her a plate and take it to her chair in the livingroom. Of course, she wouldn't let us. But you could see how much effort it took just for her to get up and make a plate for herself. She was pale and looked so weak. It breaks my heart to see her like that.
The kids had a blast playing with their cousins. After all the cleaning was finished my sister Opal showed up and we all 3 helped sort out orders for the church fundraiser. That took forever, but we are ready to send it in, finally.
Food wasn't so bad at first. I had meatloaf, cooked potatoes, and corn. No bread. Which wasn't too horrible as I hadn't ate breakfast. As the afternoon went on, we fixed hotdogs for the kids and I ended up eating. I didn't even think about the calorie count until I came home. Then I felt super guilty. I haven't ate since I have been home except to have a banana, some nutella, and almond milk. I didn't even attempt to put everything in on MFP. I am sure I am over my calorie limit.
As I was getting ready to leave from Moms, we were having a conversation about donating a kidney to Mom. Opal asked if I had finally found out the BMI limit for donating. I told her the living donor coordinator told me they had never operated on anyone with a BMI of 40 or above. My brother looked at me and said "That sure to goodness counts you out then." I just looked at him dumfounded. He was laughing. He probably didn't mean to hurt me, but it really did. I am super emotional. I told him what my BMI is and that I need to lose at least 30 more lbs. He laughs and says "If that's your BMI, mine is 15!" My chin hit the floor. Was he seriously being just a jerk? Yes! He is not thin by any stretch of the imagination. He is around 230-250 lbs! I just got my stuff together and came home. I ended up crying the whole way home. How can people be so hurtful?!
I felt like coming home and sitting down with a big bag of chips. But I didn't. I even admitted to Michael that I felt like eating because I was upset. That is a step in the right direction, right?
I did force myself to get on the treadmill for a mile tonight. I didn't want to walk as I was tired from cleaning at Moms, but I did it.
I need to be 100% back on track tomorrow. I need that motivation back. I think it is time to pull The Biggest Loser back up on Netflix. Or maybe Ruby. I love Ruby. She is such an inspiration to me.
What do you do to get back on track? I can't go to the rec center cause my membership expired today and I can't afford to pay for another month right at the moment. If I could find something good to watch on Netflix that would distract me.. I could walk for longer amounts of time on the treadmill here at home without feeling bored stiff. Any suggestions?
